A setup request for Dave

Dave,

I noticed that the Parrothead section has threads with the newest posts on the top of the list. The Disneymania section has them on the bottom. This is not a problem with only a page of thread titles, bit would become one when the thread titles take up more than a page. Would you please change the setup on the Disneymania section?

Bob,

You have the option to do it yourself. Use the following steps:

1. Click on User CP
2. Click on Edit Options
3. Scroll down to Thread Display Options
4. Under Thread Display Mode, Click on the scroll arrows
5. choose: linear - newest first
6. scroll down to bottom
7. Click on save changes


This should work in all sections of the forum.

There is another way to check the newest posts since your last visit also. At the left hand side of the thread name there will be a "V" shaped thingie. Click on that and it will bring you to the first newest post.

The steps you gave me change how the posts are ordered within the thread. What I wanted was how the threads titles are displayed in each section. If you look at the Parrothead section you will see that the threads with the newest posts are on the top. The Disneymania section has them on the bottom.

I took a look, the options are set differently in the two forums and I went ahead and changed the Disneymania default option to agree with the Parrotheads option. If others decide they don't like this, please post and I'll reconsider the choice.
